Born Again

The book of 1 Peter teaches us that like Jesus, we should expect to suffer in this life. Our Christian response to suffering is to persist in doing good, knowing that Christ has already redeemed us and showed us the way, and that our inheritance in him is eternal. Knowing that in Jesus we are born again into a new family, a new identity, and a new way of life means that we can freely live his way in a world that will not understand us. We will explore the themes of redemption, identity, witness, and humility - themes appropriate for the season of Lent - alongside the story of Jesus’ journey to the cross.
